The University of Connecticut offers a standard personal computer known as the HuskyPC.
The purchase of a HuskyPC includes UConn's standard supported software
and hardware support. Software and hardware troubleshooting is provided
by University Information Technology Services (UITS) and hardware
repairs and/or replacement is provided by the UConn Co-op.
Tips for Purchasing a HuskyPC (Mac)
1.
If you choose one of the pre-configured models listed below, simply
print the quote and send a copy of it with your requisition to the
Purchasing Department, U-6076 Attn. Team 3.
2. If you
decide to customize your system by creating a "Proposal" on the UConn
Custom Apple Store, remember to print the proposal and include with
your requisition.
Customizing and Upgrading your Mac
If
you find it necessary to upgrade one of the configurations listed below to
better fit your needs, there is a link at the bottom of this page to
UConn's Apple Custom Store where you can select the upgrades of your
choice. If you are considering upgrading only the system memory (RAM),
we recommend that you request a quote from the UConn Co-op rather than
ordering it from Apple. We have access to third-party memory at a
